How do you estimate how much an app makes?
From the app's daily position on the App Store's top-grossing charts, overall and in its category. Revenue is read off a power-law curve of position, shaped on published benchmarks (Distimo, Sensor Tower) and scaled to recent US App Store totals; category positions are mapped onto the overall chart from the apps on both. Apps not on any grossing chart get a ceiling: they earn less than the last app on their category's chart.
How accurate are the estimates?
They are ranges with a confidence level, not reported figures, and every app page shows how its number was worked out. Use them to compare apps and spot patterns. App owners can share their real numbers privately to improve the model.
Which apps can I look up?
Every app on the US App Store top charts (free, paid and grossing, overall and in each category), plus apps found by searches: thousands of apps, refreshed daily. MRRBeam also estimates downloads.
Is it free?
Yes. Looking up an app needs no account. A free account adds full reports: growth, user complaints and a build brief.
