Privacy policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
This policy explains what MRRBeam collects, why, and what you can do about it. MRRBeam is a market-intelligence tool; it does not sell personal data and does not run advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account data — when you create an account: your email address, your name if you give one, and a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Your work in MRRBeam — apps and opportunities you save, notes, tags, saved searches, alerts and preferences such as your default country.
- Usage counters — how many full reports you opened this month, to apply plan limits.
- Billing status — your plan and subscription state, received from our payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
- Technical data — your hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and time) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We use a single sign-in session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
App Store data
MRRBeam analyses publicly available App Store information: app listings, chart positions and public reviews. Review text is analysed to count complaint themes and is not stored; only the resulting themes and counts are kept.
Who processes data for us
- Hosting and compute (Amazon Web Services) and our database provider (MongoDB Atlas).
- Payments and subscriptions (Polar), which acts as the merchant of record for purchases.
- Transactional email, such as verification and password-reset messages, when enabled.
Your choices
You can update your profile in Settings at any time. To export or delete your account and its data, email support@mrrbeam.com and we will handle the request promptly.
