How this ranking works
The Success score measures how established an app already is. It is different from MRRBeam's Opportunity Score, which asks whether there is room for a new app to compete.
- Traction (50%): number of App Store ratings, on a log scale.
- Chart position (30%): best current position on the overall or category top charts.
- Satisfaction (20%): average rating, shrunk toward 3.8★ when an app has few ratings.
